FOTD (Tebo Tebo)

Drinks at Tebo Tebo are served in these cute glass vases! The larger amount makes up for the more expensive prices compared to the sister tea shop, volcano tea.

However, the food can't compare. At 5 dollars a plate, the amount of calamari rings was mini skew and not enough for 3 people to all have a equal bite. The popcorn chicken was also less then if one were to buy a 2 dollar bag of popcorn chicken at Volcano Tea compared to this 3 dollar. But for the ambiance and more tasteful place to hang out with some good drinks, it's a good pick!
ps: on a side note, i broke my own boba drinking record today. 3 drinks from 3 different shops. JMT at 7leaves for lunch, tebo for dinner, and JMT at Tra Teahouse as a midnight snack!

My Summer thus far!!! ~

After standing in the sun for , oh , i don't know, 30 minutes (we were pretty late to graduation), I ditched the graduate to have a fun G.N.O.

Originally planned to go Boiling Crab, we were in a pickle when they informed us that they were out of crawfish. Yeah, a crawfish place out of crawfish. So we decided to be cray and try a new crawfish place, the Kickin' Crab! Me and my friend got not only spicy, but spicy spicy. And ooh nelly, it lived up to the title... But It was the best crawfish I had ever had!!! Its not just salty as BC's seasoning but was flavorful and had a kick. So final verdict. Kicking crab 5/5

Grad Night at Disneyland~
So Grad Night is basically for all the Seniors in the district to go to disneyland at a discounted price for the whole day then after the park closes, only the graduates can stay from regular closing time til 3 am. I was an outcast among the 2012 graduates for I am class of 2013...Oh, forgot to mention, It was my first time at the happiest place of Earth! And I must say, I can't argue with their slogan.

I like tigger. He was cool. Winnie the Pooh, on the other hand, pushed me when the picture was done taking....

Rode splash mountain 3x at 2 in the morning . Sit in the front they said....it would be fun they said.... I was soaked!!!!! It was cold and windy!!!! But so funn!!

Right after Gradnight, My sister came home from her Asia trip then the following day, my niece returned for her annual trip in Cali! Here we are raping children.

After a tiring day of shopping at South Coast Plaza, had some dinner at Ajisen Ramen ~

Topped off Ramen with some dessert at the oh so popular 85 degree!
Brunch ! Had some Dimsum this morning and then JMT for dessert this morning keke.

And of course, Niece's cravings in Cali is but of course, Boba and popcorn chicken. We been having boba every day thus far, sometimes twice in a day! That shit cray. But hey, who's complaining! And that concludes 6 days of my Summer vacation so far. Shopping, Boba, food, taking pictures in supermarkets/backyard/ with young children. fun fun fun! 2 and a half more months to go!

New Love, New Life

(left: Black Halo wither grass jelly , Right: Jasmine Milk Tea with honey boba)

If you had known me just 2 months earlier, you would know that my go to drink would be Crimson Peach at the local boba shop, Volcano Tea. Well, this might come as a shocker, but, that fact has now changed. Not just my favorite drink, but my favorite boba shop and taste has changed entirely. No longer am I a fan of Volcano Tea whose drinks are a hit or miss depending on the workers. But I am a loyal fan of Jasmine Milk Tea from 7 Leaves. Don't let the simplicity of the name fool you, although this drink is not out of the norm, the addition of the shop's specialty, their honey boba gives the drink a special sweet tang that makes you crave for more and more and more. Many people also like the coffee with sea cream and the Mung Bean drink
.Mung Bean
is a great  antioxidant and jam packed with nutrients for the body. It is not just a delicious drinks but actually serves a purpose besides satisfying one's cravings for sweets on a hot day-or any day actually. So the final verdict? JMT 5/5

(Left: Yogurt from Yogurtland. [green tea, blueberry lychee, plain tart](toppings: gummy bears, gummy worms, mochi, lychee, mango, and colorful sprinkles) (right:Tropical twister from VT with lychee jelly and grass jelly)

If you live in the Garden Grove area, unless you live under a rock, you must know of Volcano Tea House and or Yogurtland that has recently opened  in the area. Although, I myself not a fan, the different colors aspects from the various flavors of yogurt and the toppings make it look it look so appetizing and refreshing on a hot day...or any day for that matter, according to my fellow-friend Yogurt lover. Next door we have the boba drink. Also commonly known as bubbletea or pearl drink or my favorite, Bobz. Bobz is good whenever, wherever, and whatever occasion . Whether on a date or shopping with the parents, boba is a never wrong choice. Felling peckish? No worries, Volcano Tea has a variety of assorted snacks such as popcorn chicken, fried calamari, ponado, shaved ice, french fries, etc...It has a wide variety of teas, milk teas, coffee, or even slushies ,and smoothies. Wide variety for a variety of choices for the consumers. Although Volcano Tea isn't the only boba shops in Garden Grove, it is definitely one of my favorites .
